Many Gold Coast City Jazz Club members will know vocalist and bassist Kaite Chester from her performances with the Project Swing Big Band and as the Club’s Musician of the Month in October 2024.
Kaite has recently released her new single, “Too Close for Comfort”, the first taste of her upcoming debut album, Onto Something, which will be released on 11 September.
Featuring fellow Queensland jazz musicians Steve Newcomb on piano, Elliott Parker on bass and Chris Evans on drums, the single offers a fresh take on the much-loved jazz standard.
